Challenge
Our client was a large global manufacturing client made up of 400+ entities around the world. The client suffered extended close cycles due to challenges in the consolidation process, especially withing the elimination of intercompany transactions. The client had selected Oracle Financial Close and Consolidation (FCC) as part of a broader technology uplift program.
Solution
We designed and implemented a best in class consolidation system leveraging FCCS which included integrations from over 50 seperate ERP instances globally, approval unit hierarchies allowing in country leadership control over their reported results, automated eliminations for faster consolidation (transactional & equity eliminations), and automated cash flow reporting.
The client saw reduced cycle times, and increased agility within the close cycle.
